To the best of our understanding, all shipments from the United States from BCH Trading Co. originate in areas not related to conflict socially or economically. In most cases best management practices (BMP’s) are adhered to when applicable and promoted.

In the case of Southern Yellow Pine in the Southeastern United States much but not all of the land is associated with SFI (Sustainable Forest Initiative) and private ownership demands our renewable forests perpetuated.

Temperate Hardwoods also found in Northern, Appalachian and Southern United States also follow BMP’s when applicable and private and public ownership also demands renewable forest practices.

BCH is mindful of conflictive areas of forest and promotes products from non-conflicting areas.
